Unit installation:
1. Site selection: Steady winds without turbulence are a must for maximum power. The higher the wind generator is placed, the stronger winds it will experience.
A. Avoid trees and buildings that will shadow the wind generator.
B. Placing it close to the batteries will minimize the line loss and cable size.
C. Propellers and wind generator vibration can cause a certain amount of noise. Placing the wind generator away from living quarters is recommended.
D. When the wind power generator is placed besides the obstacle, the bottom of the wind round must be 2 meters higher than the top of the obstacle.
2. Wind generator installation: the installation of wind generator is tense, meticulous and serious, so that the regulation must be observed. The erection of the wind generator must be under the circumstance the wind speed is less than 8m/s.
A. Dig a squarish pit, demanding 1-meter-long sides. Set the base evently in the pit and pour concrete.
B. Take the squarish pit as the centre point to form a circle, requiring a radius of 5.0m. Equally dig 4 pits around the circle. Set anchors of base into them and then pour concrete.
C. After hardening the concrete, take down the pole. Support the pole with simple stents
D. Thread the cable through the pole, link up the pole and the base. Link up the anchors and the pole with wires of anchors, and fasten them. Loosen the tightening tool. Pull up the pole. Readjust them to keep the pole vertical. (See Fig)

3. Electrical system installation:
A. Fix the watcher at the bottom of the vertical axle. Smear some oil on the vertical axle and rotary set.
B. Lay the rotary into the vertical axle (signs upward). Lock the circlip and lay the cap. Connect the cable to the vertical axle. Link up the cable and the output line. Pay attention to the short-circuit hidden dangers.
C. Cables exposed should be bandaged to defend against sunshine. Bandage the top of the vertical axle cap to prevent it from destroying the cable.
D. Connect the tail rod and tail vane. Not tighten up the nut until they are parallel. Put the tail vane into the rotary set. Penetrate the pin roll and fasten the nut.
E. The installation of blades and hub, demands the concave side against the wind and the convexity side against the generator. Afterwards lay the motor shaft, the washer and fasten the screw. Promising the motor shaft and the hub are normal. Install the air deflector.
F. Link up the red wiring terminal and anode“+”, the black wiring terminal and cathode“-”fast. Attention: the battery voltage, the inverter and the generator voltage must be matching. You can smear some oil to prevent the battery from being corroded.
G. After the finish of the installation, inspect carefully. Pull up the generator. (See Fig).

Matters needing attention:
- When the generator jitters and makes abnormal noise, it should be stopped and examined carefully.
- The plane direction of the working wind round can not stand people or carry on other work.
- The battery must maintain dry and clean all the time. To avoid short-circuit; the battery must be kept away from metal.
- The cathode connection of the electric control box and the monogamous inverter can not be put in the same place. The operation of the power inverter should follow the instruction.
- Inspect the wires of anchors after suffering strong winds. Fasten take-up if it is loose. (the upper pole must be vertical)
- The wind power generator can not be mixed with other lines. It should be arranged separately. Suggest the lighting use dc power and household appliances use ac power. (the inverter and its output line can not be parallel connection, the inverter output line can not be connected to the national grid)
- When installing, connect the electric control box to the battery first, and to the generator output line second. The order of its decomposition exactly is opposite.
- The electrical control box Shutdown switch is usually fixed with the boot switch. It is used when the capacity of the battery is adequate or to defend strong storm disasters. Only when the wheel round rotates slowly can you button the shutdown switch. No-load operation is forbidden, in order to secure the blade.

FAQ
Q: Why do electrical equipments can’t be used after switching in system?
A: Check the remaining battery power, low battery can’t make the electrical equipments normal operation, if sufficient power, please check whether the battery and inverter wiring is right.
Q: Why can’t we charge batteries?
A: Check whether the blades are rotating, the generator will not output under too low (high) wind speed; if normal rotation, please switch off the battery and inverter wiring from generator and check the generator output with voltmeter; if normal, please check whether the battery is damaged according to battery manual, if the voltage is zero, please check whether the generator cable problems.
Q: Why don’t the blades rotate under normal wind speed?
A: If the output wire of generator is short connected, the blades will not rotate, please switch off the battery and inverter cable to check the generator cable.
Q: Can we extend the service time of electrical equipment by increasing the battery capacity?
A: Increase the suggested battery capacity will make the battery in a long time state of not full of battery, which will affect battery’s lifetime and cause a waste.
Q: How to maintain the generator?
A: The working environment of wind turbine may be extremely bad, may also be encountered in a variety of complex weather condition, so we need to perform periodic inspections and maintenance.

Q: How does the generator achieve yaw?
A: 3KW-20KW achieves yaw by using the anemoscope and anemometer to detect wind direction and wind speed, send signals to drive motor by using controller. While 300W-2000W uses mechanical mode to achieve yaw, generator axis deviates from the center pole some distance, at the same time, there is a degree between the tail rod and pole, at the small wind, the tail rod makes the generator facing wind under gravity, at the strong wind, the blades generator deflecting torque greater than the twisting torque generated by the tail rod gravity.
Q: Some users reflect that the controller output voltage is relatively low, what is the reason?
A: The controller adopts chopper principle to achieve voltage regulation, when the output voltage (voltage after rectification) higher than set voltage, the controller will discharge by SCR to reduce the output DC voltage in order to protect the battery, that is when the battery is full, the voltage will rise, we achieve floating charge by continuous discharge. The users usually disconnect the battery when measuring the output voltage, the controller is then in the discharge state, while the Avometer measurement is the average voltage, so it turns up the low voltage phenomenon.
